We here at Jazz Mafia Headquarters couldn't possibly be more excited to launch our new monthly series Sunday Skool! This collaboration between Jazz Mafia & SF's premiere circus troupe the Vau de Vire Society has literally been in the works for a decade... and the time is finally ripe! Lucky you! Enough of dark, moody and sexy... Sunday Skool's emphasis is on play, fun, joy, and silliness and will leave you feeling happy and excited to start your week! Our first installment at the gorgeous Great Northern SF this past Sunday was beyond words amazing. We had special sets by Lateef the Truthspeaker and Gift of Gab from Blackalicious, and my favorite DJ Platurn spun the afterparty while we all danced our faces off.
